Read and laff...and lest I forget happy palm Sunday to y'all.
So I was on my way to work this afternoon, and I got held up by the rain in obalende...The many passengers and I had to stay under the bridge to allow the rain go down. We stood there for almost one hour, I was thinking of how late I was to work when I suddenly noticed the 'lepas' beside me.
There were lots of them, hugging themselves with their hands, some had pashiminas all over them, some had the geles of their sunday wears over there shoulders..they were feeling really cold, and some of them were even shivering.
With a merciless smile on my face, I said to myself "who says a little fat on your flesh isn't good?" I was there in my fall-neck, small sleeved top enjoying the cool breeze the rain brought with it, and wishing I was on my bed. I felt really sorry for the "lepas", I wish I could lend them some kilogram of fat to give them the heat they needed...lmsao. Me staying under that bridge and watching the "skinnies" needing some warmth was very gratifying, I wore some sarcastic grin on my face throughout ...lol.
I was really feeling fly, you know, that I didn't have to go through that one hour under that bridge feeling so cold and needing to wrap myself in layers of pashiminas or gele. Science explains it all, the extra fat on my flesh acted as an insulator.....! who says a little fat isn't cool....Abegi! we rock jare!
Lol! Love it :) Lola
