So I'm sat here wondering…
It feels like one of the nollywood hits
I literally laughed out loud
Was I a pawn in a game of chess?
May be...
I remember who you were but still I'm surprised
Why can't history just surprise me and not repeat itself?
My heart, it feels heavy
My soul laughs in anguish
How did I not see it?
I'm the clairvoyant queen or so they say
Beware of friends with shovels...they dig up the past you thought you buried---unknown
Hmmmm This is deep, but i like though.
ReplyDeleteVery deep Dayor, makes me think. Some friends eh... Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm... True true true.
ReplyDeleteKai, it's friends like this that make me wish I know how to fight dirty...they are not worth the sweat sha....abeg shovel them back to the past too.
ReplyDeletePainful but true. I hope you're fine. HUGS
ReplyDeleteOk, so what's the background story. Yea, i can be amebo like that *covers face*
ReplyDeleteBlessings.....
ReplyDeleteThere are several solutions...some i'm likely to use...
1. Keep it moving when they start shedding the crap
2. Walk with your own shovel to bury that shit simultaneously
3. Verbally stop them in their tracks leaving them stun with my verbal smack down.
Have a great week
peace.

True but the thing is they never show up with the shovels. I think part of life's gift is for us to be disappointed and betrayed so that we can appreciate the true friends we have nice post by the way ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing that. How are you?
