Livin-in-Lagos

Eh eh...so its been a bit, I miss you all, I miss blog rounding, and I know I have missed out on a lot of posts from my dears. Na oke-bola nor allow me see oke-ado jare.lolz

Did I ever mention to you that my job got monotonous, boring..or whatever the word is? Oh, yes it did, and another opportunity came in just at the nick of time. Thank God. But this new offer also came with its own challenge...guess...?

I had to leave Lagos..oh Lagos! I remember when I moved into Lagos when I got a job there, how I was always complaining about the traffic, the noise, the early wake ups and the late-night sleeps. After almost two years, I felt really 'not-happy' leaving Lagos. I thought about all I was gonna miss and guess what? They were the same things I dreaded when I moved in, 'human-beans' sha, we are very fickle.

So here I am, in some countryside, rural area, remote,not-too-urban, boonies or whatever suits sha. New job, totally new job description, new environment, new people, and truck loads of quietness too, really really quiet o, less traffic, early sleep times and late wake ups...*smiles*. (You can actually wake up 7:15am and still get to work before 8am) that's some place, abi?

So after all my complaints and rambling and musings and ££»&^*(@$. I made up my mind to enjoy the scenery while it lasts, nothing is forever, they say. I plan to be here till ....*wink*...and after here I will probably look back and miss these things I'm here rambling about...Sigh, I'm sure you all will remind me that time, abi?

But seriously,I thank God for giving me an opportunity to explore this part of me, some other people will kill for this chance, I got a shot to be paid doing what I love...aint I blessed? I AM o, so I also had to get a new slogan, "These are the good times, so take a good look around. You may not know it now, but you're  gonna miss this". Feel free to adopt it too o.

And its a wrap from your very own, naija fat girl, Peace, Love & Quiet!

P.S: Will gist you about how my veggie and fruit diet is going later.

Since you are in a 'rurally' part, fruit and veg should be cheaper there naa. (winks)

  12. Congratulations on the new job and all. I pray that God will continue to be your guidance. I hope you're enjoying your new job and location as well. Just try to find things that you love to do around there, and, in little time, it'll start to feel like Lagos. Ha.
