* I have been playing a lot with words for a while now. Below is one of what I came up with. Enjoy.
You were as thick as the green forest, unity does not describe the bond
The togetherness of the tiny pieces, numbering one to millions
'your glory' says the good book
Each one on its end as black as the tents of kedar
The afternoon was as bright as a fully lighted hall
My feet wrestled with their knees,
Under the honesty of a two feet flourescent
The swivel stood out dancing on it hinges like some lever
And there was the shhh kind of silence
Zilch, zilch we got the sound, it was the death of you
"it looks like a weave" He said
You were as a rose trampled on by the shoe of a horse
My eyes found my face again~unfamiliar
The smile brought back my reality, it was a new day already
And I got a new name ready
'Beautifully shaven' is what I chose
hmmm... weldone! I likey!
ReplyDeletesmiles,thanks

Delete"Zilch, zilch we got the sound, it was the death of you" lol. I maintain that poetry is a language; the tongue it is spoken or written in is one of its many dialects. Weldone is definitely appropriate
