Hey people, its been a bit. Hope y'all very well?
Yipee! I wrote my best post
today.
I woke up this morning with my muse. I mean from my bed to my laptop. I wrote the best post
ever. The choice of words, the way my sentences were constructed… I was almost
sure I’ll get a recognition with that post.
People! I was excited
and I still am. You know why? Because I wrote my best post today but
unfortunately you won’t be reading it because after I wrote the post my PC went off
and when it came back on the very good write up had disappeared. No recovery,
nothing!
I’m happy I wrote my
best post today but I’m also sad because you won’t be reading it.

I've been wanting to meet bloggers for a while now. I'm glad my dream is finally coming true. I met Myne at an event last year, I was in a hurry so we could not talk. I hope I get to see her when she comes to Nigeria again. See a picture below:

ReplyDeleteWell Dayor, I also met Myne first! And still hoping to read your best post! It's not funny beccause I had the same experience on Monday and I've not recovered from the lose after the efforts of writing and losing it. But again, I just thought it was some kind of 'a slice of life'!
ReplyDeleteGawd, i'll be so frustrated. I always make sure to have plenty battery before typing and i hit 'save' after almost every word. I've learned that lesson the hard way (think school assignment and mad deadline)

ReplyDeleteAww that sucks. I remember the first time that happened to me. My computer froze and i was tol scared to hit refresh but after 30mins wait i succumbed and refreshed. Hoping and praying that it saved. Came back after the refresh and tuens out there was an autosave. Clicked the autosave only to find out that na only the title the thing save.

Guess it happens 2 almost every writer and the most unfortunate part 'bout it is you would likely not be able to re-compose such inspired work. I've had my own share of experience.
