Blogversary: Meet my...*drum rolls*

Hello people, hope you are all very well? Remember I said I was going to put up my guest writer’s CVs. Here they are: Check out their blogs, read their write-ups and watch this space. Oct. 29th – Nov. 5th, 2012, I will be celebrating two years of blogging.

I found her blog few weeks ago and I fell in love with her writing. She does deep stuff. She says she gets a mini-orgasm just looking at herself in the mirror, “she loves her that much”. She’s all about God, Family, The BF, books, make- up , good shoes, her note pad, biro, phone and Gari, yes Gari as in cassava flakes, gari as in G2SO4

She wrote on how she fell in love… the write-up got me all mushy- mushy and she also talked about why she writes. Friends meet Tomilola Akibo aka the “dramaqueeN”.

I refer to him as “your awesomeness”. A beautiful soul and a special friend. He stays in the beautiful city of Port Harcourt, a devout believer in reading. A System Administrator, Graphic designer, Poet, Song Writer, Fashion designer, Music lover, Motivational talker and God lover. I’m talking about the one and only “9ja-Great-Man”.

He knows he’s on planet earth for a reason, and he shared on this very interesting topic…. You don’t want to miss it, do you?

I fell in love with poetry when I found his blog; I’m still hoping that one day I get to write poems really well like he does. He’s been blogging since 2005; probably the oldest blogger I know. He’s an IT guru by day (An application developer, UI interface designer, User Experience Engineer). He does HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript etc…all those geeky stuff.

He’s a poet/writer by night…I’ll say. He’s a quiet “sumbori”, sipping Coke and munching Pringles in front of a 17 inch laptop was how he spent his typical day.

I’m sure you are wondering who I’ve been describing, wonder no more; He is the one and only Seye Kuyinu of “Seye Blogs”.

She’s the writer of the popular “Mr. Anonymous” post that got over 200 comments and a lot of responses from the male folks. I like the humor, the twists and turns that she adds to her writings, creative is the word that qualifies it better.

Her fairy tale world is even more interesting that her writings….In her fairy tale world… she’ll vacation in heaven when it gets stressful down here, hearts would be incapable of breaking (hearts would be made of steel, I like that), she would be able to cut and paste on an electronic typewriter…lol. She calls her blog “Catharsis”. I’m personally leading a delegate to ensure Obama starts reading her blog for relaxation, friends in the house meet Barrister Titilope Martins.

It was one of those very low days for me, one of the things I do on low days is find out new blogs and get inspired, I was blog rounding when I stumbled on his write-up. He was guest on that blog, and oh sweets…the write up got me. It was what I needed to hear or read. You can read the write-up here.

I found his blog and bookmarked it on my phone and PC, any time I need to be feel life and get inspired I go look for him. He says he is finding himself out but he knows few things that are sure…he is a Christian, he loves God and he’s working towards perfection on his way to eternity. He is a son to wonderful parents, brother to very cool siblings and a friend. He is a smart guy; he is so smart he doesn’t use Google...lol. He is funny, witty and very street-wise. He says he is designed tough, tough guy truly. He believes in finding his own path and walking it.

Our first meeting felt like we had known each other for eternity, he is good listener and he has become more of a brother than a friend in the short while I’ve known him. I think his wealth of experience and his words are way too deep for the number of years he’s spent on earth. He is a run-away blogger too. Peeps I give you Jeddydiah.

She is a leader, reader, lover, cook, writer, teacher and God’s child. A journalist by training and currently a law student. She’s working towards creating a better world; a world where women are not abused and a world where children get their priorities right and turn out to be good adults that will change the nations especially Nigeria.
