Hello everyone,
Seasons hailings to all of una, Abeg
make nobodi forget to invite me to come chop chicken, goat meat and all the
nice nice food una go prepare this season, remember, na the season of sharing
be this so remember a sista ok?
My 2012 has been a little bit of
this and that with so many lessons learnt. I thank God for bringing us this far
and almost to the end of yet another successful year. We started this year with
a lot of people but some did not live to see this day. I am certain that
somewhere in the world (even today), someone my age died... so I am not just
thankful I am more in tune with my maker, because I know there is a reason He
kept me alive...a purpose only Him can make clear and help me by His grace to
accomplish. I pray same for you.
There is no way I can talk about
my 2012, without expressing my “Ghanaianess” and sharing my experience as a
Ghanaian. My strong ties with Nigeria will also reflect …the airplane crashes,
the collapse of building, the terrorist attacks. We lost people... good people.
Some of them were close friends and relations. We cried, we hurt, we moved on.
Their memories will always be in our hearts.
Talking about memories, I had the
fondest memory of my late mum this year. Her birthday this year was a special
one and most deserving. Her strength, her courage, her fortitude and the
lessons she taught me both in life and in death, made so much sense to me this
year. In memory of her love, I praised God in tears of joy for the life she
lived. Thanks again for all the sweet comments and encouraging words on my blog
for her.
The much awaited 2012 Ghana
elections came along. Hmm... All the brouhaha! Chai! See Campaign o, Music videos, Debate,
‘badt’ slogans sef weren’t left behind. Yes we came and saw, and we had one
declared winner out of the eight contestants. One of the parties that lost has
been raising a lot of concern since the results were declared. I guess in all,
lessons were learnt and a choice was made.
It has been a very eventful year,
but most importantly, I am thankful for love and life. I am thankful for
family, and I am thankful for being a part of blogsville! You guys rock!!!
Peace... I'm out
